Frédéric is a first-year undergrad student in physics at the Université de Montréal. After working two years at the Fédération étudiante collégiale du Québec, he picked up his studies in physics. Frédéric is now specially interested in astrophysics, with a particular curiosity for imaging and analyzing spatial observation data.
For the summer of 2024, Frédéric will have the chance to work with Professor David Lafrenière’s group to upgrade their multi-wavelength simultaneous adjusting software for exoplanets transit curves, obtained from James Webb Space Telescope. This upgrade’s objectives are to add the possibility of having Gaussian processes components in the software, which would allow us to access to all of the new telescope power.
