Jennifer Glover

PhD student, McGill University

In September of 2023, Jennifer began her studies at McGill under the supervision of Dr. Nicolas Cowan. She is using spectroscopic techniques to study exoplanets. In September of 2024, she fast-tracked to PhD.

Jennifer completed her bachelor’s degree in Physics and Astronomy at the University of Victoria in May of 2023. Her undergraduate honours project focused on using spectroscopic techniques to compute the radial velocity and composition of old metal-poor stars. She also worked on the development of an exposure time calculator for the ultraviolet multi-object (UVMOS) spectrograph of the CASTOR space mission as part of a suite of tools known as FORECASTOR.
