The Institute for Research on Exoplanets, in collaboration with the Department of Physics of the Université de Montréal, the Observatoire du Mont-Mégantic and the Centre for Research in Astrophysics of Quebec, is organising the Soirée d’initiation à la recherche en astrophysique, an online version of the popular Journées d’initiation à la recherche en physique, held annually at the Université de Montréal.
This free activity is for Cégep students, and will take place on Wednesday, February 16th from 7PM to 9PM.

During this evening, you will have the opportunity to meet many graduate students in physics, and to learn more about astrophysics, one of the fields of research of the Department of Physics of the Université de Montréal.

8:15PM: Presentation of the Observatoire du Mont-Mégantic and the James Webb Space Telescope with Nathalie Ouellette, astrophysicist.
