Tekaronhiakanere Maracle

Tekaronhiakanere has just completed her first year of a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics and Atmospheric Sciences at McGill University. Her traditional Mohawk name translates to “she stares at the heavens”, which fits very well as she has been looking up at the sky her entire life, wanting to learn more.

Tekaronhiakanere will be working with Nicolas Cowan as a member of the McGill Exoplanet Characterization Alliance, studying exoplanets and their atmosphere. She is very excited for the opportunity to combine her passions of astronomy and climate physics.
