Anthinéa Melot

Anthinéa is in her final year of engineering school in France, studying mechanical engineering. A lifelong space enthusiast, she has been an apprentice at ArianeGroup, the European manufacturer of the Ariane 5 and soon Ariane 6 launchers, since 2021. In particular, she has been working on the launcher’s mechanical environments and structural dynamics, studying the propagation of pyrotechnic shocks and working on the numerical modeling of various pieces of equipment.

This summer, she joins the experimental astrophysics laboratory team at the Mont-Mégantic observatory (OMM) to work on its telescope and instruments.
