Enola Quenet

2025 Summer Intern, Université de Montréal B.Sc. Student

Enola is a first-year physics student at the Université de Montréal. Passionate about astronomy and astrophysics, she loves daydreaming while looking at the stars and is constantly amazed by the Universe’s mysteries. She is particularly interested in exoplanets and the research possibilities they offer us.

That’s why IREx immediately piqued her interest when she first discovered its existence this year. She has attended all the Institute’s activities, and her passion for exoplanets has grown.

This summer, she will be working with the team of Professor David Lafrenière and postdoctoral researchers Joost Wardenier and Romain Allart on the characterization of hot jupiters using high-resolution spectroscopy and computer modeling. She is looking forward to starting her internship to discover this fascinating field of research and learn more about the worlds around us.
