Livia Poliquin

Livia is a first-year student in the Honours Pure and Applied Science program at Marianopolis College. Fascinated by space since childhood, she has long aspired to pursue a career in astrophysics research. Her internship with Leslie Moranta at InitiaSciences, where she analyzed light curves of young stars, deepened her passion for astrophysics and allowed her to develop valuable technical skills.

This summer, under the supervision of Jonathan Gagné and Leslie Moranta, she will contribute to a project detecting young exoplanets using radial velocity measurements with the NIRPS (Near-InfraRed Planet Searcher) spectrograph.
