Maria Bayder

Maria is a student at Marianopolis College in the Honours Pure and Applied Science program. Fascinated by physics, mathematics, chemistry, and biology, she is curious about how the universe works at the fundamental level. She enjoys exploring physical phenomena and learning about recent discoveries through classes, books, experiments, and public lectures. Maria is eager to dive into research that can contribute to understanding important processes happening on Earth.

This summer, Maria will be working under the supervision of Dr. Nicolas Cowan on UV radiation in surface waters over geological time.
