Nicholas Connors

MSc student, Université de Montréal

Nicholas Connors started research with the Université de Montréal under the supervision of Prof. Björn Benneke and Dr. Lisa Dang in late August 2024. He then started officially his MSc program in January 2025.

His research focuses on atmospheric characterization of rocky exoplanets orbiting M-dwarf stars using the James Webb Space Telescope. He is particularly interested in further exploration of the most popular of M-dwarf planetary systems, TRAPPIST-1.

Nicholas graduated from McGill University with a degree in Physics and Computer Science in 2022 before working professionally as a software developer. During his undergrad, he worked on researching the origins of the exoplanet radius gap via planet formation under the supervision of Prof. Eve Lee.
