Érika Le Bourdais and Leslie Moranta, two young researchers who are starting their graduate studies this year, have won the Hubert Reeves Scholarship awarded by the Université de Montréal’s Department of Physics.

This scholarship is offered each year to an individual who are beginning their graduate studies in the Department of Physics at the Université de Montréal, and who demonstrates a remarkable motivation to pursue studies in astrophysics.

The committee, composed of Patrick Dufour and Daniel Nadeau, professors in astrophysics, as well as the director of the department Nicole St-Louis and Olivier Hernandez, director of the Rio Tinto Alcan Planetarium, have exceptionally decided to award two scholarships this year, given the high quality of Érika’s and Leslie’s files.

All iREx members offer them their sincere congratulations!
